They were put on the table and it was immediately obvious they had been cooked earlier and reheated as when I lifted one steak up, which was very dry and brown, the one below was ok where it had been covered by the top steak, but brown and dry where it had not. We began our meal by having an free amuse bouche, which was a tasty tomato and mint cold soup, very nice. This seems to be common practice here in the Pyrenees.
