​Cette distinction vient reconnaître le travail conduit par le centre d'art contemporain et son équipe depuis 30 ans et, depuis 2010, sous la direction éclairée de Fabienne Grasser-Fulchéri.Lieu de référence de l'expérience de l'art et de la transmission, l'Espace de l'Art Concret a su conquérir une place majeure dans le concert des institutions qui comptent dans le champ de l'art contemporain, tant au niveau régional qu'au niveau national et international.Situé entre Cannes et Grasse, l'Espace de l'Art Concret est un centre d’art contemporain créé en 1990 suite à la rencontre entre deux collectionneurs, Sybil Albers et Gottfried Honegger, et du maire de Mouans-Sartoux de 1974 à 2015, André Aschieri.
